The Branch began November 1st. 2018 and takes its name from the mountain Cairnsmore of Fleet which is about 6 miles away and dominates the locality.

We hope to establish ourselves and grow within Galloway. The Branch is currently and constantly looking for supporters and volunteers.

Our Branch is overseen and governed by CCLL Head Office which provides information, support, centralised accounts, indemnity insurance, trusteeship and organisation.

We will have our own Branch Committee/Leadership who manage to day to day administration.

Our Branch is entirely unpaid, voluntary and dependent upon generosity of giving in kind and financially from individuals, business and organisations.
People give of their time, talents, gifts and graces freely and enthusiastically.

The welfare of the disadvantaged families is paramount.

We operate a strict children and vulnerable adults protection policy and procedures with anyone (16 years+) involved having to be approved by the charity and where necessary checked and cleared by Disclosure Scotland Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
